In this paper, a new scheme for image encryption is presented by reversible cellular automata. The presented scheme is applied in three individual steps. Firstly, the image is blocked and the pixels are substituted by a reversible cellular automaton. Then, image pixels are scrambled by an elementary cellular automata and finally the blocks are attached and pixels are substituted by an individual reversible cellular automaton. Due to reversibility of used cellular automata, decryption scheme can reversely be applied. The experimental results show that encrypted image is suitable visually and this scheme has satisfied quantitative performance.

Metal swarf is unavoidable material in metal processing industry, also metal swarf treatment lead to cost savings by metal waste reduction and removing the cutting fluid waste, that cause to increasing process stability and metal value. It is interested that in how to recycle metal swarf especially when swarf surrounded by cutting fluid, is considered because these waste are classified as hazardous waste. The aim of the study is to increase the process efficiency and environmental performance by metal waste reduction at source which are the first step of the waste hierarchy. the results of the experiments showed that 3391 tons of metal swarf coated with cutting fluids which contained 2.29% cutting fluid be produced annually. It has been found that if the total amount of cutting fluid on the swarf surface be reduced to less than 1% leads to a significant mass reduction in the amount of hazardous waste. In this research, it was considered, 107,922 USD profit at the end of first year and 205,278 USD at the end of second year would be obtained by reducing the cutting fluid content from 2.29% to 0.8% with using cutting fluid that surrounded metal swarf separation equipment in manufacturing location. Breast cancer is the second most common cause of cancer-related death among females, which requires an exploration for markers to propose a more specific categorization of this cancer. Long noncoding RNAs (lncRNAs), the main subset of noncoding transcripts, are involved in tumorigenic processes. In this study, we investigated the expression of the fer-1–like family member 4 (FER1L4) lncRNA and its competitive endogenous RNA network target gene, RB transcriptional corepressor 1 (RB1), in ductal carcinoma (invasive and in situ) tissue and its adjacent noncancerous tissue (ANCT). Furthermore, associations of FER1L4 and RB1 with various clinical features of the patients were analyzed. Methods: Quantitative real-time PCR was used to measure the expression of the mentioned genes in 61 samples of ductal carcinoma and their ANCTs, and the data were analyzed using ANOVA and t tests. Results: FER1L expression was not significantly different in breast tumor samples compared with their ANCT samples, while RB1 showed significant downregulation in tumor tissues (P = 0.008). In addition, increased expression of FER1L4 and decreased RB1 expression were significantly correlated with lymph node metastasis in breast cancer patients (P < 0.05). Conclusion: FER1L4 is not upregulated in breast cancer tissue. However, RB1 expression is significantly downregulated.

In fact, performing caesarean section without medical reason has many harmful consequences for mother and her baby. The current study was aimed to determine the effect of planned behavior-based educational intervention on the selection of childbirth method among primipara women who visit health centers of Tehran during 2016-2017. Methods: This was a semi empirical study, with pre-test, post-test design and control group. 120 primiparas who visited health centers were randomly categorized into intervention and control groups. Data was collected by researcher-made questionnaire based on the construct of the theory of planned behavior, and after confirming its validity and reliability, was distributed between the statistical samples. The collected data was analyzed using SPSS16. Results: The descriptive findings showed that intervention and control groups were demographically homogenous. The inferential findings showed that between the average of both groups in all construct, except for the behavioral ones, there was no meaningful difference before the educational intervention (P>0.001) while after that, the difference of average were meaningful (P<0.001). Conclusion: The results indicated that the program has a positive effect on improving the selection of childbirth method among primiparas as they are more tended to natural childbirth than caesarean section. Therefore, the construct of the theory of planned behavior can be used to encourage such women to choose natural childbirth instead of caesarean section.

DOI: 10.30699/ijmm.13.1.14 Background and Aims: Candida albicans as an opportunistic fungal pathogen in human is the cause of volvovaginitis candidiasis. Azole resistance is cinsiderable as worldwide problem in treatment of candidiasis. Azole resistance can occur through different mechanisms such as mutation in ERG11 gene. The aim of our study was evaluation of ERG11 gene mutations in fluconazole resistant islotes of C. albicans obtained from patients with volvovaginitis in west of Mazandaran.

Liver biopsy is the main method for grading and staging liver disorders, but the effects of clinical information and optimal biopsy specimen size on interpretation remain contentious. The aim of the study was to evaluate the impact of clinical information and quality of liver specimen on inter-observer agreement for liver disease.

Eosinophilic cholecystitis is a rare inflammatory condition encountered in surgical cholecystectomy specimens. In terms of histopathology, it is defined by transmural infiltration of eosinophils composing more than 90% of leukocytes. We here report a case of 19-year-old male admitted with thalassemia intermedia and with severe left upper quadrant pain. The patient underwent open splenectomy and cholecystectomy. In his histopathologic examination eosinophilic infiltration was found in gallbladder wall.

In this research, a study of the behavior and correlation between sunspot number (SSN) and solar flux (F10.7) have been suggested. The annual time of the years (2008-2017) of solar cycle 24 has been adopted to make the investigation in order to get the mutual correlation between (SSN) and (F10.7). The test results of the annual correlation between SSN & F10.7 is simple and can be represented by a linear regression equation. The results of the conducted study showed that there was a good fit between SSN and F10.7 values that have been generated using the suggested mutual correlation equation and the observed data.
