On the property between theta functions and Dedekind s function according to the changes in the value periods
In the study, two relations between the Dedekind’s η-function andθ function were established by using characteristic values(ε,ε ′)≡ (0,0),(0,1)(mod2) for θ -function according to8 coefficient of period pair (u,τ). The transformations among the theta functions according to the periods have been given and a Jaco bian style elliptic functions has been set up the theta funct io by the help of a defined function.
LS(2)-Equivalence conditions of control points and application to planar Bezier curves
Having an important role in CAD and CAM systems the Bezier and Bspline curves and surfaces and NURBS modelling are based on control points belongs to these curves and surfa ces. So the invariants of these curves and surfaces are the in varia ts of the control points of these curves and surfaces. In this study we studied the equivalence conditions of compared two differe nt control point systems under the linear similarity transformations LS(2) in R2 according to the invariant system of these control points. F inally the equivalence conditions of two planar Bezier curves is exami ned.

Corrosion Behavior of Electrodeposited Ni-B Coatings Modified with SiO2 Particles
The need for coatings with improved operation is vital to insure safety and high output of industrial plants. Electrodeposition is a valuable surface modification technology that can be used to develop various kinds of coatings. Although, Ni-B coatings have good mechanical properties (hardness and wear) but are suffering from inferior corrosion resistance. The development of Ni-B composite coatings by incorporating insoluble hard particles such as metal oxides (Al2O3, TiO2) through electrodeposition process has generated a great interest among the research community because of auspicious improvement in properties. The main purpose of this research work was to study the influence of addition of SiO2 particles on corrosion performance of Ni-B coated surfaces which has not been reported so far. Coatings of Ni-B and Ni-B-SiO2 were deposited on steel through electrodeposition process. The microstructural (SEM) analysis confirms the formation of uniform, dense nodular structure in coatings of Ni-B and Ni-B-SiO2. Surface examination (AFM) discloses that the addition of SiO2 increases surface smoothness. Electrochemical characterization of the synthesized coatings indicates that Ni-B-SiO2 composite coatings demonstrate better anticorrosion properties when compared to Ni-B. Enhanced corrosion performance may be ascribed to reduction in the active surface area and grain size refinement which reduces the porosity by the addition of inactive SiO2 particles.

Distinct Subgroups of Cicer echinospermum Are Associated with Hybrid Sterility and Breakdown in Interspecific Crosses with Cultivated Chickpea
Crop wild relatives are a reservoir of phenotypic variation not present in the germplasm of cultivated species and thus have great potential for crop improvement. However, issues of genetic compatibility often interfere with effective utilization of crop wild relative taxa. Among chickpea ( Cicer arietinum L.) crop wild relatives, Cicer echinospermum P.H. Davis is the sole species in the secondary genepool, being partially compatible with the primary genepool that is composed of the cultigen and its progenitor wild species Cicer reticulatum Ladizinksy. We report results from genetic studies among interspecific hybrids between cultivated chickpea and accessions from six recently identified wild C. echinospermum sites in southeastern Turkey, encompassing the known genetic diversity of the secondary genepool. Our studies indicate that both hybrid sterility and hybrid breakdown occur and are associated with distinct subgroups of C. echinospermum . Analysis of early‐generation progenies suggests that both hybrid sterility and hybrid breakdown are conditioned by one to few genetic loci. These results clarify ambiguity in the nature of the hybridization barriers of reduced fertility in interspecific crossing of cultivated chickpea with C. echinospermum and should foster a more systematic and wider use of C. echinospermum for base broadening of cultivated chickpea.

Are adipocytokines inflammatory or metabolic mediators in patients with inflammatory bowel disease?
This study examined the adiponectin and leptin levels and insulin resistance (IR) in patients with inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) and the associations between these factors and IBD characteristics. Fasting serum leptin, adiponectin, glucose, and insulin levels, as well as inflammatory parameters, were measured in 105 patients with IBD (49 patients with Crohn's disease [CD], 56 patients with ulcerative colitis [UC]) and 98 healthy controls [HC]. IR was evaluated using the Homeostatic Model Assessment of Insulin Resistance (HOMA-IR). Disease activity and severity in patients with UC were evaluated using the Truelove-Witts index, and patients with CD were evaluated using the Crohn's Disease Activity Index. Serum adiponectin levels were found to be significantly lower in patients with CD and UC ( p <0.001). Serum leptin levels were also found to be significantly higher in both the UC and CD groups ( p <0.001). When HOMA-IR levels were compared, no significant difference was detected for either the CD or UC groups compared with the controls. In conclusion, it was shown that leptin levels increased and adiponectin levels decreased in patients with IBD, which is thought to be related to chronic inflammation. The effects of adipocytokines in patients with IBD with inflammatory and metabolic processes need to be investigated in further broader studies.
