Rusins Freivalds was one of the first researchers who introduced methods (later called fingerprinting) for constructing efficient classical randomized and quantum algorithms. Fingerprinting and cryptographic hashing have quite different usages in computer science, but have similar properties. Interpretation of their properties is determined by the area of their usage: fingerprinting methods are methods for constructing efficient randomized and quantum algorithms for computational problems, while hashing methods are one of the central cryptographical primitives. Fingerprinting and hashing methods are being developed from the mid of the previous century, while quantum fingerprinting and quantum hashing have a short history. In the paper we present computational aspects of quantum fingerprinting, discuss cryptographical properties of quantum hashing, and present the possible use of quantum hashing for quantum hash-based message authentication codes.

The article provides data on microbiological (gas) corrosion of sewage collectors and structures on them. The results of inspection of Saint Petersburg structures are presented. The findings of the experiment for determination of stability of protective coatings conducted in a pressure suppression chamber in Novosibirsk are given. The known methods of corrosion prevention are considered in the work and a new one is offered, which is aeration of discharge liquid in the pressure suppression chamber by means of natural ejection of air into a penstock. The diagram of the effective construction of the pressure suppression chamber, allowing to implement the offered method, is presented. The carried out experiments on construction modeling of the pressure suppression chamber are described and optimal values of its geometrical parameters are given. The article also presents an engineering solution to collocation of the chamber and a gas cleaning plant on a sewage collector. Economic comparison of the offered method for protection of collectors versus the two most often used ones – fiberglass pipe lining and wall coating with polymer-silicate composition “Konusit KK-10” – is carried out. Cost estimation of fulfillment of the said methods for various diameters of the collector and its length is performed, as well as for various periods of time. Efficiency of the alternative way of corrosion prevention, offered by the authors, is proved.

Chitosan-based adjuvants combine effectiveness, safety and economic feasibility and thus are quite promising for enhancement of influenza control via vaccination, however, problems of characterization and reproducibility remain unresolved; data on relations between physical-chemical characteristics (PCC) of the polymer and immunogenicity of chitosan-based adjuvants, as well as comparative evaluation with other adjuvants are needed. Groups of mice were immunized intramuscularly with inactivated influenza vaccines based on A/California/07/2009 (H1N1) strain with characterized adjuvants based on chitosan with varying PCC (molecular mass 700 and 10 kDa, deacetylation degree 85%; HMC and LMC, respectively) and its derivative (succinylated chitosan (SC)). Experimental formulations were also studied: an «oil-in-water» emulsion (ME) and a multi-component adjuvant (MS). Different adjuvants increased immunogenicity of the inactivated influenza vaccines by hemagglutinin inhibiting sera antibodies in varying patterns. HMC was more immunogenic than LMC, whereas SC even reduced immunogenicity of the vaccine. HMC was comparable to MS by immunogenicity, and LMC - to ME. PCC of chitosan and its derivatives play an important role in immunogenicity of the respective adjuvants, and perspective and characterized chitosan-based adjuvants are comparable or even more immunogenic than adjuvants from other groups.
