Films and Arts flipping the pages of the history

Ankita Sahu

The paper focuses on 11 historical films from 1950 till 2018 adapted from the real incidents that took place in the Indian history and it also explores the reason for the rise and fall, marketing strategies, the budget, awards, critic reviews, audiences reactions both in India and overseas etc of the films. Not all movies hold out the expectations of the audiences and the film critics, but as per the survey goes, most of the historical stories that are adapted to movies, are loved and appreciated by the audience and are declared to be the blockbusters. The sudden rise in curiosity to know about the past has built an opportunity for the cine world to explore on historical stories and presenting these stories in a grand style, adding their flavours of imagination. This has led a great interest among the producers to invest large sums with a confidence of a grand return. Keywords— Audience and critic review, budget, hit/flop, historical stories/text adapted to movies, Marketing strategies, New Historicism.

Hepatocellular carcinoma treatment: hurdles, advances and prospects

Ratna Kumari · Manoj Kumar Sahu · Anindita Tripathy +2 more

Hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) is one of the major causes of cancer-related mortality and is particularly refractory to the available chemotherapeutic drugs. Among various etiologies of HCC, viral etiology is the most common, and, along with alcoholic liver disease and nonalcoholic steatohepatitis, accounts for almost 90% of all HCC cases. HCC is a heterogeneous tumor associated with multiple signaling pathway alterations and its complex patho-physiology has made the treatment decision challenging. The potential curative treatment options are effective only in small group of patients, while palliative treatments are associated with improved survival and quality of life for intermediate/advanced stage HCC patients. This review article focuses on the currently available treatment strategies and hurdles encountered for HCC therapy. The curative treatment options discussed are surgical resection, liver transplantation, and local ablative therapies which are effective for early stage HCC patients. The palliative treatment options discussed are embolizing therapies, systemic therapies, and molecular targeted therapies. Besides, the review also focuses on hurdles to be conquered for successful treatment of HCC and specifies the future prospects for HCC treatment. It also discusses the multi-modal approach for HCC management which maximizes the chances of better clinical outcome after treatment and identifies that selection of a particular treatment regimen based on patients’ disease stage, patients’ ages, and other underlying factors will certainly lead to a better prognosis.

Review on Apriori Based Frequent Item Set Mining Using Various Techniques

Ravishankar Sahu

Frequent Item set Mining is a standout amongst the most prominent systems to extract knowledge from data. Be that as it may, these mining strategies turn out to be more risky when they are connected to Big Data. Luckily, recent developments in the field of parallel programming give numerous devices to handle this issue. In any case, these instruments accompany their own technical difficulties, for example, balanced data distribution as well as inter-communication costs. In this paper, we are showing a point by point survey of Hadoop, which helps in putting away data and parallel processing in a distributed situation. Here we have surveyed different Frequent Item set Mining method on parallel and distributed condition. The point of this paper is to show a correlation of various frequent item set mining methods and help to create proficient and versatile frequent item set mining strategies.

Arduino Based Electric Meter using GSM

Satyam Lonare

Every system in our surrounding is becoming automated and making our life easier. Our idea is to develop an automated electricity billing system which is very useful in our daily life. The main motive to design the project is to create an automatic system to generate electricity bill. The whole module will keep an eye on the electric bill and the arduino microcontroller unit will be used to keep record of all units. As soon as the month end will be complete the total units consumed will be calculated and accordingly the bill is generated and display on the LCD. The captured image is in processed and meter reading are extracted. The bill amount is calculated and send to consumer as SMS via GSM module. A copy of SMS is then send to electricity board for documentation purpose. The current system of energy billing is error prone and also time consuming. Errors get faced at every stage of energy billing, thus to overcome for this drawback to smart energy meter.

Finite Element Analysis of Single Plate Clutch by using Ansys

Mahendra Sahu

A Clutch is a machine member used to connect the driving shaft to a driven shaft, so that the driven shaft may be started or stopped at will, without stopping the driving shaft. A clutch thus provides an interruptible connection between two rotating shafts. The present used material for friction disc is Cast Iron and aluminum alloys. In this thesis analysis is performed using composite materials. The composite materials are considered due to their high strength to weight ratio. In this thesis composite material kevlar and aluminium Metal Matrix Composite are taken. A single plate clutch is designed and modeled using Catia V5 software. Static analysis is done on the clutch to determine stresses and deformations using materials Grey Cast Iron, sintered iron, kevlar and aluminium Metal Matrix Composite. Analysis is done in Ansys16.0. Theoretical calculations are also done to determine stresses. Keyword: Clutch, Static analysis, Ansy16.0s, Catia V5.

Modelling, Simulation and Analysis of DC & AC Outputs using Hybrid PV and Wind Power System for Remote and Hilly Areas

Satyam Das

One of the major challenge in the power generation is heavily depends of thermal power plant based on coal, at the same time for construction of coal based thermal plant there is restriction from environment aspects, so it is necessary to promote renewable energy like solar and wind energy generation. In case of installing the hybrid energy system, the main causes behind requirement of this installation is the intermittency of various energy resources and unbalanced quantity of sources of energies. The performances of solar PV and wind turbine connected hybrid generating systems are much better in conditions where the sunbeam and wind shifts their rate of availability based on the seasonal changes. A hybrid arrangement of combining the power harnessed from both the wind and the sun and stored in a battery can be a much more reliable and reliable and realistic power source. But, still the load can be powered through the energy stored in the batteries even when there is absence of solar or wind. Hybrid system is usually built for design of system with lowest possible cost and also with maximum reliability. The high cost of solar PV cell makes it less competent for larger capacity designs.

Image Fusion of Fingerprints using Fractal Representation and Dual Tree Complex Wavelet Transform

Chiteranjan Sahu

The popular Biometric used to validate a person’s fingerprint is remarkable and permanent all through the individual life. Fingerprint Recognition or fingerprint confirmation alludes to the mechanized strategies for checking a match between two human fingerprints. Fingerprints are broadly utilized as a part of everyday life for over 100 years because of its attainability, uniqueness, perpetual quality, precision, unwavering quality, and acceptability. There are numerous ways to detect the fingerprint. One of the way is by image fusion. Image fusion has standout amongst the most critical systems in digital image processing, which incorporates the improvement of software to make the coordination of numerous arrangements of information for a similar area. In this paper fractal analysis and dual tree complex wavelet transform has been utilized for development of fingerprints digital image's quality, particularly fine subtle elements and edges, utilizing edge location and afterward decide the difference by utilizing ten distinct threshold.

Significance of Doshas in Management of various Disease

Alok Kumar Asthana · Monika Asthana Monika · Renu Sahu

In Ayurveda, the span of life is described to be determined on the basis of nature of the physique, type of constitution1 The utility of Ayurveda is to help maintain the health of a healthy individual and cure of disease of a patient2. In our ancient text, the pathogenic factor in the body are Vayu, Pitta and Kapha, while those in the mind are Rajas and Tamas. Out of three qualities (Gunas) of mind viz., Sattva, Rajas, Tamas, it is only the latter two that cause vitiation of the mind, the former one being non-pathogenic3 In other words, Vayu, pitta and Kapha are, somatic Doshas and Rajas and Tamas are the psychic ones. These three Doshas when vitiated harmful to our Dhatu (tissue) and donate life in an unvitiated state, which means helping in the acquisition of health.so for the healthy life equilibrium of Doshas is mandatory4.
