Diabetes is one of the major health problems that affect a large number of human populations. Diabetic cataract is one of the most frequent ocular complications rising secondarily to the diabetes. Aspirin and its various coordination metal complex plays a significant role in reduction of diabetes as well as cataract. In this work it had been tried to find about role of the Zinc-Aspirin complex and its effect on diabetic cataract induced by fructose. The synthesized complex had been synthesized using Zinc chloride and Aspirin. The synthesized complex had shown to reduce the in vitro diabetic cataract induced by the fructose. It could be concluded that zinc-aspirin metal complex may significantly reduce the cataractogenesis caused by the diabetes in in vitro model of cataratogenesis.

Hyperbilirubinemia is usually benign in preterm and term infants. Dangerous hyperbilirubinemia is uncommon but may cause long term neurological impairment. In a resource limited rural setup exchange transfusion is an easy, cheap and convenient way for treatment. Our Study focus to improve the outcome in neonatal Hyperbilirubinemia patients in a rural referral center of Odisha.Aim: Our present study aims at determining the alternations of various haematological and biochemical parameters after exchange transfusion along with adverse outcomes in pre-term and term infants.Materials and Methods: Total 106 new-borns blood samples were taken from those who have under gone exchange transfusion for different indications. New-borns are divided into two groups pre-term and term infants. Results: A significant decrease in serum bilirubin values was observed in both the groups after exchange transfusion. Also a significant decrease in blood platelet and increase in calcium level were also present. Conclusion: Proper approach and prompt management is needed in case of neonatal-hyperbilirubinemia in a resource limited rural setup. Keywords: Exchange Transfusion, Hyperbilirubinemia.

Propagation of cylindrical shock wave in a rotational axisymmetric non-ideal gas with axial magnetic field, radiation heat flux and the components of vorticity vectors are investigated. The axial magnetic field and the fluid velocity in the ambient medium are assumed to vary and obey the power laws. An exact similarity solution is obtained. The total energy of the shock wave is not constant but increases with time. The effects of variation of parameter of non-idealness of the gas, the Alfven-Mach number and the adiabatic exponent of the gas are investigated. It is shown that an increase in the non-idealness of the gas or the ratio of specific heats of the gas or strength of initial magnetic field decreases the shock strength but increases the shock velocity. Further it is observed an increase in the value of parameter of non-idealness of the gas and adiabatic exponent of the gas have same behavior on the flow variables and the shock strength.
