Reliable, clinically useful, and globally applicable diagnostic classification of mental disorders is an essential foundation for global mental health. The World Health Organization (WHO) is nearing completion of the 11th revision of the International Classification of Diseases and Related Health Problems (ICD‐11). The present study assessed inter‐diagnostician reliability of mental disorders accounting for the greatest proportion of global disease burden and the highest levels of service utilization – schizophrenia and other primary psychotic disorders, mood disorders, anxiety and fear‐related disorders, and disorders specifically associated with stress – among adult patients presenting for treatment at 28 participating centers in 13 countries. A concurrent joint‐rater design was used, focusing specifically on whether two clinicians, relying on the same clinical information, agreed on the diagnosis when separately applying the ICD‐11 diagnostic guidelines. A total of 1,806 patients were assessed by 339 clinicians in the local language. Intraclass kappa coefficients for diagnoses weighted by site and study prevalence ranged from 0.45 (dysthymic disorder) to 0.88 (social anxiety disorder) and would be considered moderate to almost perfect for all diagnoses. Overall, the reliability of the ICD‐11 diagnostic guidelines was superior to that previously reported for equivalent ICD‐10 guidelines. These data provide support for the suitability of the ICD‐11 diagnostic guidelines for implementation at a global level. The findings will inform further revision of the ICD‐11 diagnostic guidelines prior to their publication and the development of programs to support professional training and implementation of the ICD‐11 by WHO member states.

In this paper we report the clinical utility of the diagnostic guidelines for ICD‐11 mental, behavioural and neurodevelopmental disorders as assessed by 339 clinicians in 1,806 patients in 28 mental health settings in 13 countries. Clinician raters applied the guidelines for schizophrenia and other primary psychotic disorders, mood disorders (depressive and bipolar disorders), anxiety and fear‐related disorders, and disorders specifically associated with stress. Clinician ratings of the clinical utility of the proposed ICD‐11 diagnostic guidelines were very positive overall. The guidelines were perceived as easy to use, corresponding accurately to patients’ presentations (i.e., goodness of fit), clear and understandable, providing an appropriate level of detail, taking about the same or less time than clinicians’ usual practice, and providing useful guidance about distinguishing disorder from normality and from other disorders. Clinicians evaluated the guidelines as less useful for treatment selection and assessing prognosis than for communicating with other health professionals, though the former ratings were still positive overall. Field studies that assess perceived clinical utility of the proposed ICD‐11 diagnostic guidelines among their intended users have very important implications. Classification is the interface between health encounters and health information; if clinicians do not find that a new diagnostic system provides clinically useful information, they are unlikely to apply it consistently and faithfully. This would have a major impact on the validity of aggregated health encounter data used for health policy and decision making. Overall, the results of this study provide considerable reason to be optimistic about the perceived clinical utility of the ICD‐11 among global clinicians.

This paper studies the Critical Success Factors’ (CSFs) for the adoption of Digital Payment System in India. There are few studies about the literature on CSFs for the adoption of the digital payment system in the Indian context. This study is an attempt to cover this gap. In this study, we reviewed the theories for adoption model at the individual level used in Information System (IS) and discussed four technology model including “Technology Acceptance Model” (TAM). Ten factors have been identified with extensive literature review and review of selected models namely; Perceived Ease of Use, Perceived functional benefits, Awareness, Availability of Resources, Government as a policy maker, Performance Expectancy, Social Influence, Price Value, Experience & Habit, and Risk-taking ability. An expert from academic industry has been taken as a reviewer or consultant of the selected variables. The CSFs may ensure that they are the predictors and the important factors for adoption of digital payments system in India. The study mainly uses the deductive approach to consider the primary and secondary sources of data. The analyses of these models take into account through Interpretive Structural Modeling (ISM) methodology and develop a model for effective adoption of Digital Payment System in India. The paper also makes future recommendations for further research studies.

In this paper, the uncertainty property is represented by Z-number as the coefficients and variables of the fuzzy equation. This modification for the fuzzy equation is suitable for nonlinear system modeling with uncertain parameters. Here, we use fuzzy equations as the models for the uncertain nonlinear systems. The modeling of the uncertain nonlinear systems is to find the coefficients of the fuzzy equation. However, it is very difficult to obtain Z-number coefficients of the fuzzy equations.

Aerospace-grade Ni-based alloys such as Inconel 718 and 625 are widely used in the airspace industry thanks to their excellent mechanical properties at high temperatures. However, these materials are classified as ‘difficult-to-machine’ because of their high shear strength, low thermal conductivity, tendency to work-harden and presence of carbide particles in their microstructure, which lead to rapid tool wear. Machining-induced residual stresses in a machined part is an important parameter which is assessed since it can be used to evaluate overall structural resilience of the component and its propensity to fatigue failure in-service. Ultrasonically assisted turning (UAT) is a hybrid machining technique, in which tool-workpiece contact conditions are altered by imposing ultrasonic vibration (typical frequency ~ 20 kHz) on a tool’s movement in a cutting process. Several studies demonstrated successfully the resulting improvements in cutting forces and surface topography. However, a thorough study of UAT-induced residual stresses is missing. In this study, experimental results are presented for machining Inconel 718 and 625 using both conventional turning (CT) and UAT with different machining parameters to investigate the effect on cutting forces, surface roughness and residual stresses in the machined parts. The study indicates that UAT leads to significant cutting force reductions and improved surface roughness in comparison to CT for cutting speeds below a critical level. The residual stresses in machined workpiece show that UAT generates more compressive stresses when compared to those in CT. Thus, UAT demonstrates an overall improvement in machinability of Inconel alloys.

DNA polymerases are evolved to extend the 3'-OH of a growing primer annealed to a template DNA substrate. Since replicative DNA polymerases have a limited role while replicating structurally distorted template, translesion DNA polymerases mostly from Y-family come to the rescue of stalled replication fork and maintain genome stability. DNA polymerase eta is one such specialized enzyme whose function is directly associated with casual development of certain skin cancers and chemo-resistance. More than 20 years of extensive studies are available to support TLS activities of Polη in bypassing various DNA lesions, in addition, limited but crucial growing evidence also exist to suggest Polη possessing TLS-independent cellular functions. In this review, we have mostly focused on non-TLS activities of Polη from different organisms including our recent findings from pathogenic yeast Candida albicans.
