Design of 4G Antenna for Mobile Handset

Tejashree S.Sale · U.L.Bombale U.L.Bombale

A compact multiband planar antenna is designed for mobile phone applications in this paper. A planar monopole antenna into distributed radiating elements has designed to obtain good antenna performance. The proposed antenna is combined of a chopped circular radiator with a meander line and an L-strip coupled element which is an extension of the ground plane. A chopped circular patch and L-shaped coupling strip generates lower band and separate radiator and meander lines generates upper band. A planar structure has dimensions as 17.6 × 56 mm. Such a planar structure has printed on circuit board. Antenna covers wireless communication bands as LTE 750, GSM 850, GSM 900, DCS 1700, UMTS-2110, and UWB 3100. The designed antenna performance has checked with the help of IE3D simulation software. The proposed antenna has designed and tested practically. General Terms Microstrip patch antenna, Mobile communication, Multiband antenna.

An Image Compression using Multilayer Wavelet Transform with 2DTCWT: A Review

Priya Pareek · Manish Shrivastava

Image compression is reducingsize of images in bytes of an imagewithout degrading the quality of pixelspresent in images to an unacceptable level. Whenever images are resized then it provides storage space to the other files. In this paper we have discussed a new approach for image compression, where multilayer wavelet is to be used, by using dual tree complex wavelet transform with multilayer that preserve the dominant brightness level and intensity of the targeted image in layers, which results in layered wavelet coefficients close to zero. The Thresholding also can modify the coefficients to produce more zeros which allow a higher compression ratio. The wavelet analysis needs addition support for compressing the data so Huffman coding is used along with wavelet analysis of an image in order to compress the data. Finally get the best result with higher psnr and compression ratio and minimum mse in the compared proposed.

Private Cloud using OpenStack for Knowledge Sharing System

Abhijeet Kohakade · Abhishek Pakhale · Omkar Joshi +1 more

is an open source cloud computing platform which is a joint venture by Rackspace and NASA. OpenStack consists of many projects such as Nova (Cpute), Swift (Storage), Neutron (Network), Glance (VM Images) etc. Swift is used as Object storage. Amazon Web Services provide way of managing cloud instances; the similar purpose can be achieved by OpenStack at virtually no cost. System aims at developing a private cloud using OpenStack and building a website for the purpose of knowledge sharing. This system consists of firstly, building a private cloud using OpenStack for object based storage as well as compute node and secondly a website to implement knowledge sharing through the medium of web. Motivation of this system is to fill the gap between the growing technology and its use in academia. Key features for this system include abstraction of complexity, simplicity and fault tolerance of object storage and managing of cloud instances. KeywordsInstances, OpenStack, REST, Swift

HDLC Implementation in Wireless Sensor Networks

Deepika Sharma · Rajeev Kumar Patial

work aims the designing and implementing an efficient HDLC chip. We use pipelining technique in HDLC register module which increases the throughput of the system and also helps in decreasing the delay of the system. In pipeline technique, number of instructions has been executed at the same time. The HDLC chip designed here supports two way communications means it supports full duplex communications which means that it can transmit and receive continuously. In this paper we adopt Xilinx's Spartan-3E for HDLC implementation and for hardware simulation we use Modelsim SE 6.2C.
