Design of New Hash Algorithm with Integration of Key based on the Review of Standard Hash Algorithms

Nidhi Garg · Neeta Wadhwa

Cryptographic Hash Functions are main building block of message integrity. These functions have many information security applications such as Digital Signatures, Message Authentication, Data Integrity and Key derivation. This paper presents comparative study of standard hash algorithms (MD5, SHA-1 and SHA-2), their security aspects and recent attacks. In this paper, a new hash algorithm with integration of key is proposed. This key is a shared secret key ‘KEY’ of 192-bit. The proposed algorithm produces a hash code of 192 bits from an arbitrary length input and serves the requirement of both the message integrity as well as source authentication. This algorithm consists of very simple steps, therefore would have lesser overhead and complexity as compared to the standard hash algorithms.

M. H. Saleh · S. M. Amer · D. Sh. Mohamed +1 more

In this paper we investigate the numerical solution of Abel’s integral equations of the first and second kind by chebychev polynomials of the first ,second ,third and fourth kinds. Some numerical examples are presented to illustrate the method. General Terms Numerical solutions, Fractional integral equations

Design and Analysis of Large Data Processing Techniques

Madhavi Vaidya · Shrinivas Deshpande · V. M. Thakare

As massive data acquisition and storage becomes increasingly affordable, a large number of enterprises are employing statisticians to make the sophisticated data analysis. Particularly, information extraction is done when the data is unstructured or semi-structured in nature. There are emerging efforts taken by both academia and industry on pushing information extraction inside parallel DBMSs. This leads to solving an significant and important issue on what can be a better choice for large scale data processing and analytics. To address this issue, we highlight the comparison and analysis of the three techniques which are nothing but the Parallel DBMS, MapReduce and Bulk Synchronous Processing in this paper.

Public Key Steganography

Nesir RasoolMahmood · Ali Abdul Azeez Mohammad · Zahraa Nesir Rasool

In this paper, a new method will be introduced for hiding information in images by using a public key method for ciphering the text before hiding information as well as this public key will be used in determining the position where the information will be hidden by using the last position in finding the new position, symmetric key also will be used in hiding process for deciding the number of bits that will be used from each pixel in the image, the combination of steganography and cryptography provide much strong method for keeping information secured and undiscovered from unwanted persons.

A Novel Approach for the Determination of Membership Values of the Strings in Fuzzy Languages

Rahul KumarSingh · Ajay Kumar

Classical automata theory can not deal with uncertainty. To deal with uncertainty in system modeling, fuzzy automata come into the existence. Fuzzy automaton depends on membership value. For finding the membership degree of strings in fuzzy automata, the concept of max – min automaton and min – max automaton can be used. Many researchers have used the concept of max – min automaton for finding the fuzzy languages. In this paper, the concept of min – max automaton for finding the membership degree of strings in fuzzy automata has been used. General Terms Theoretical computer science
