Public key cryptographic schemes are vastly used to ensure confidentiality, integrity, authentication and nonrepudiation. Schmidt-Samoa cryptosystem (SSC) is a public key cryptosystem, which depends on the difficulty of large integer factorization problem. The implementation of SSC to secure different recent communication technologies such as cloud and fog computing is on demand due to the assorted security services offered by SSC such as data encryption/decryption, digital signature and data integrity. In this paper, we provide a systematic review of SSC public key cryptosystem to help crypto-designers to implement SSC efficiently and adopt it in hardware or software-based applications. According to the literature, the effective utilization and design SSC can place it as a viable alternative of RSA cryptosystems and many others.

Rheumatic heart disease (RHD) is a major public health problem in low- and middle-income countries (LIMCs), with a paucity of high-quality trial data to improve patient outcomes. Investigators felt that involvement in a recent large, observational RHD study impacted positively on their practice, but this was poorly defined.

To date, there is no consensus on the selection of type and size of prosthetic valve for aortic valve replacement (AVR). The aim of this study was to compare anatomical and functional changes occurring in the left ventricle after AVR with different sizes of mechanical valves.

Mutations within the same signature transduction pathway are redundant and, therefore, most are mutually exclusive. Laboratory errors, however, may introduce unexpected coexisting mutations.

- Types 16 and 18 are the most widely studied high-risk types of human papillomavirus (HPV). However, other high-risk HPV types (HPV non-16/18) also play a significant role in cervical neoplasia. Currently, screening and management algorithms separate out HPV 16/18 from all other HPV non-16/18 types. In addition, most of the previously vaccinated population has only been vaccinated for these high-risk types, so many women are still vulnerable to HPV non-16/18 infections.
